On May 13, 1955, Lara Vincy opened her gallery at 47 rue de Seine — an iconic address the gallery still occupies today.

Since then, the gallery’s story has been woven across generations. In the early 1970s, h daughter, Liliane Vincy, took over the direction and left a lasting mark until her passing in 2015.

In 2000, her son, Youri Vincy, joined her. Together, they worked for fifteen years to uphold and expand a program true to the gallery’s avant-garde spirit. Today, Youri continues this journey on his own, with the same commitment and vision.

To mark its 70th anniversary, the gallery presents an exhibition titled  NUMEROLOGY, bringing together works by 30 selected artists around a unifying theme: numbers. Numbers as symbols, as mysteries, as data — they appear throughout the works as traces of time, chance, or hidden meaning.

Through this exhibition, we pay tribute to a unique family and artistic legacy, rooted in time, passion, and the constant renewal of ideas. A way to honor the past, anchor the present, and open onto the future.
