The exhibition “Agence Nationale De Récit Évasif” is Jean-Luc André’s sixth one-man show in the Galerie Lara Vincy (after “Dong! Dong!” in 2007). Agence Nationale De Récit Évasif is showing cloudy areas, narrative hesitancies under various régimes :

SECURIZATION “battlefield”

GOLD INVESTMENTS
These drawings made on newspaper pages (“spiroutisation”) are gathered together to make up a paper fortress, a fragile transformer of the flow and upheavals in the world...

MINUSCOR INVESTMENT
Once upon a time, some armies trained dogs or dolphins to act as torpedoes... Henceforth, the improvement of technology may allow us to envisage a miniaturization of armaments that would be borne by tiny bodies, furtive, and hard to detect, in which case the smallness of the bodies would lead to doubt as to the heroic representation of the battle...

TRANSGENIC CREDIT PLAN
The painting “Nébuleuse d’Orion (avec masque mortuaire de Marcel Duchamp)” represents a desolate area, a wasteland, in which one notices two “ confused pigs”, probably as a result of a failed transgenic experiment...

This zone is shaken by a zigzagging vibration that makes up the painting’s fluttering body…
